Full-time Nanny/Governess required for three children located in Amsterdam, salary £60,000 — £72,000 gross per annum, starting February 2024.
A returning client is seeking an educated Nanny/Governess to meet the care, educational, and developmental needs of their three children aged 14, 7, and 5.
As a Nanny/Governess, your main focus and responsibility will be towards the younger two children, ensuring their daily needs are met and they are achieving educational and age-appropriate developmental milestones. In addition, you will support and enhance all the children’s academic needs through subject mentoring, homework support, and educational-based play and activities ensuring they are learning and thriving at every opportunity.
You will be required to meet the daily needs of the children. Starting your working day in the morning to help the children get ready for school at 7 am and provide them breakfast, with a break in the day commencing again for school pick up at 2.30 pm. After school, you will escort the children to their afterschool activities, teach them good manners and etiquette, provide a snack, and support their needs up until bedtime.
In addition, you may be required to supervise the children should the parents be absent from the family home in the evening. Ensuring the home remains tidy and in order, driving the children to and from activities and working as a team member.
The household is fully staffed so no household duties are required.
The ideal candidate will be a professional and kind individual. Teaching qualifications are desirable (PGCE). Experience with young learners as well as teenagers is required to meet the needs of all the children.
Driving is essential for this role as are will be required to drive the children to and from school.
Salary is £60,000 — £72,000 gross per annum.
The working days will be 5 days per week, working Tuesday — Saturday. Starting at 7 am — 9.30 am and 2.30 — 8 pm.
Accommodation is provided in an apartment attached to the family home, with a private entrance, and shared with a nanny (shared bathroom and kitchen).
This role is suitable for candidates able to legally work in Europe.
