A local family is in search of an intelligent, hard-working and passionate Head Governess to assist in the care of their 4 children and oversee a team of 4 Nannies.

As a Head Governess, responsibilities will be to oversee the 4 nannies’ work and ensure all requirements for the children are being met. You will oversee children’s preparation and readiness for school — (breakfast, lunch, boxes and drop off at school), collect from school, oversee lunch and all extra-curricular activities, playdates, tutors, classes, liaise with school teachers and tutors, track progress and communicate to parents as well as all child-related admin and associated planning, payments, purchasing and excursions. You will follow the pre-planned schedules in place or design and implement as required and ensure communication between all relevant parties is done clearly so that the parties are aware of plans, logistics or any changes e.g. drivers, nannies, tutors and parents.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head Governess who is confident, dynamic, a great decision-maker, organised, flexible, pro-active and who can manage four fantastic but very energetic children. A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in private households is desirable as is being a qualified teacher (PGCE or QTS) with the knowledge and experience in the British curriculum and MT English.

The working schedule is 6 days working/ 1 day off. The working hours will be Sunday – Thursday from 6.00 am — 8.30 am and  2.30 pm – 8.00 pm, Saturday will be from 11.00 am — 7.00 pm and Fridays off.
This is a live out position, with separate accommodation provided as well as a car.

The role is to commence in July/August when the family visits London. The family will then return to Abu Dhabi in September.
