A family located in Hawaii is seeking a fun, active, friendly professional part time Governor to support their teenage son’s academic progress.

The teenage boy has previously been home schooled by his parents and is currently ahead of other students his age. They are now looking for a well-educated Governor to take the teenage boy’s education to the next level and bring him up to university standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience of tutoring teenagers, have the ability to build a good relationship with him and encourage him to continue to study. You will be required to bring him closer to university level standards for maths, literature, and writing, expand his knowledge in other areas, and inspire him to pursue his passions by becoming a great role-model.

This position would be suited to an active Governor who has a love for the outdoors and desire to take a break from the formal classroom setting. The family live on the main Island in Hawaii and you will have full access to their kayaks, snorkels and a vehicle when required.

The working schedule will be 25 hours per week; the family is willing to be flexible for the right candidate. They are happy for the candidate to provide other families in the area with tuition to increase their salary.

The position is to commence ASAP.

Salary on offer is $250 (live in) — $450 (live out) Per week.

Accommodation can be provided in the family home with a shared bathroom with full access to the family’s amenities. Alternatively, the candidate can arrange their own accommodation and live out.

Requirements

Qualified and experienced Governor
Knowledge of French or Spanish (desirable)
Experience of working with teenagers
Active, fun, creative and good role model
