Full-time House Manager required for a family located in Suffolk, UK, £35,000 — £55,000 Gross per annum, start June/July.
A highly recommended client is seeking a professional, friendly and experienced House Manager to assist with the organisation and running of their family home.
The responsibilities of the House Manager will be to oversee the running of the family’s country home including cleanliness, maintenance, and management of contractors and staff.
You will be required to recruit and manage other private staff and service contractors, and oversee and support the smooth running of the whole household including but not limited to general housekeeping and organisation, repairs and maintenance, kitchen and pantry operation, laundry management, procurement and inventory control and training of staff. In addition, you will manage household budgets and schedules, coordinate and handle personal requests and ensure preferences and standards are met and maintained in all areas at all times.
As a Household Manager you will have experience in planning, organising and coordinating events and other social activities, managing diaries, receiving guests and visitors, shopping and running errands.
You should have excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail in a calm and professional manner. The family seeks a candidate with a hands-on and flexible approach. A full UK driver’s licence is required.
Candidates will need to reside within a commutable distance to the family home or be willing to relocate. Accommodation could be provided for the right candidate with a separate apartment attached to the family home.
The working schedule is 5 days per week. Flexibility will be required. The family resides in London and visits during the weekend and summer.
Salary is £35,000 — £55,000 gross per annum.
