A warm, thoughtful, and welcoming international family is seeking an experienced and nurturing rota nanny to join their fully staffed household and provide dedicated care for their baby boy, currently 1 month old.
This is a truly lovely opportunity to join a happy family environment where the wellbeing of both the children and staff is genuinely valued. The role is primarily focused on the baby, although there is also an older sibling aged 3 in the household, who has his own dedicated rota nanny team. The family is therefore looking for a nanny who is confident working collaboratively within an established household structure, while taking full responsibility for the baby’s daily care, development, routine, and overall wellbeing.
The family divides their time between Mumbai and London, typically spending the summer months in London, and they also enjoy travelling internationally throughout the year. They are very accustomed to travelling with staff and ensure their nannies are well supported at all times.
The household is fully staffed, organised, and supportive, with an excellent existing team in place. The current rota nannies speak extremely highly of the family and are happy to speak with prospective candidates about the role and working environment. Although this is a rota position, the family places great importance on ensuring their nannies are rested, happy, and able to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The working schedule is a clean 7am–7pm, with clear handovers and excellent support from the wider household team.
As the rota nanny, you will oversee all nursery duties related to the baby, including maintaining routines, supporting developmental milestones, organising belongings, coordinating appointments, and creating a calm, stimulating, and nurturing environment in which he can thrive. You will take a proactive approach to supporting his early development while ensuring consistency and high standards in all aspects of his care.
The ideal candidate will be kind, gentle, calm, and naturally nurturing, with previous experience working in private and international households. A Norland qualification is highly desirable.
