A lovely family located in Etoy, Switzerland is seeking a caring, organised, enthusiastic & professional Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with the care of their children and running of the family house (3 floors, 8 rooms).
As a Nanny/Housekeeper you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children: dressing, bathing, routines, play, and development as well as assisting with general cleaning duties related to the children. The Nanny should be confident and able to provide an environment in which the children can learn and develop through play, games, reading and excursions. You will be required to drive the children to & from school and additional activities, prepare meals and ensure they are ready for the school day ahead.
During school hours you will take a professional approach to the care of the property, including dry & wet cleaning, washing, ironing, caring for luxury items (clothes, shoes, antiques), watering flowers in the garden and running other errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaner, car wash).
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable & friendly, and happy to get involved in family life becoming part of the family. You will work as a team member alongside the mother. Previous experience working in private households & flexibility to meet the needs of the family is desirable.
The family speaks 4 languages: English, French, Italian & Russian and is looking for a candidate who speaks at least one of these languages.
The ability to cook & drive is essential for this role.
The working schedule is 6 days on / 1 day off (negotiable for the right candidate), working from 8 AM to 8 PM. (Rota schedule 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off is negotiable). The candidate will work with the children on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (2 hours a day), on Wednesday & Friday (5 hours a day).
This is a live-out position, with a separate studio apartment provided on the family grounds with a separate entrance. Overnight stays within the home may be required if the parents are out.
The family is located in Etoy, Switzerland (between Geneva and Lausanne) and travels from time to time around Europe. The Nanny/Housekeeper will be required to travel with the family.
