Full-time English-speaking Nanny/Governess required for G8 in Munich, Germany. Salary €69,000 — €79,000 gross per annum, live out. Start September/October 2025.
A client based in Munich is seeking an experienced and professional Nanny/Governess to assist with the care, education, and development of his 8-year-old daughter.
As a Nanny/Governess, you will be responsible for supporting the girl’s daily routine, assisting with school preparation, preparing light meals, managing her wardrobe, assisting with household duties, and keeping her belongings organised. You will also promote her independence as she grows.
The young girl is already thriving academically and is set to attend a top secondary school, following the IB curriculum. She is mature, artistically talented, and excels in her studies. The successful candidate will support her with homework and provide subject mentoring, while also encouraging further development through excursions and leisure activities.
A warm, nurturing role model is sought to offer a loving environment whilst instilling good boundaries and behaviour.
The father is a solo parent and requires a flexible candidate. Proxy parenting will be needed during his travels (typically 3 -10 days at a time, up to five times per year). Travel with the family during some school holidays will also be expected.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified nanny/governess, preferably with teaching experience and a strong educational background. You should be confident in sole charge, capable of engaging an energetic and enthusiastic young girl, and have a mature, responsible approach to both childcare and household support.
The family has a pet dog who is considered part of the family; therefore, you should be comfortable caring for the dog, particularly when the family is away.
This is a live-out position. A private apartment near the family home is provided.
The working schedule is weekdays from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and half-days on one day of the weekend.
The working hours will be up to 48 hours per week with a typical routine week averaging around 35 hours- occasional evening babysitting required.
A minimum of an 8-week holiday is provided.
