An American/Iranian family residing in New York City is seeking an energetic, caring, and educated Nanny to provide full care duties to their young children.
As a Nanny, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following an already established routine and schedule, ensuring they are reaching all age-appropriate milestones, creating fun, educational games. In addition to this, you will be required to support the children’s academic abilities and assist with housework.
The twin boys are very active and enjoy swimming, music and sports, the young girl loves animals and dolls. They enjoy visiting the park and exploring all that New York has to offer.
Both the parents are very hands-on and take a lead role within the children’s lives, they return most days for lunch and are keen to find a nanny who would become part of the family and remain with them for many years to come.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified nanny holding childcare qualifications, knowledge of early years and child development, being confident, sociable, having previous experience of working in private households and being committed to providing the children with a positive environment to thrive in. Speaking French and/or Farsi will be beneficial to your application along with holding a driving licence.
The working schedule will be 5/2 or 6/1 depending on the candidate’s preference. The working hours will be up to 10 hours per day.
This is a live in position with a private bedroom provided within the family home or live out if located within New York City.
The salary on offer is $1350 — $1600 gross per week.
