Full-time English-speaking Governess / Teacher required for B4 & G6, located in Marbella, Spain + travel. Salary: €6,000 – €7,500 per month. Live-out position. Start ASAP.
A professional, engaging, and friendly English-speaking Governess / Teacher is required to support a family with their children aged 4 and 6 years old. This role has a strong focus on early-years education and school preparation (English, Math, Sciense).
As a Governess / Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a fun, structured, and age-appropriate daily routine that supports the children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development, while naturally immersing them in the English language. You will plan English-focused lessons, educational activities, and practical learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence, while supporting the children in achieving their educational and developmental goals.
You will act as a positive role model, motivating the children to work to a high standard in all that they do.
The children already speak some English but require further development to ensure their level is suitable for school. They are well-manerred & motivated, they attend a variety of after-school activities and are open to exploring new hobbies shared with the Governess / Teacher. You will work closely with the parents and nanny, respecting household routines and preferences. Screen time is to be kept to a minimum.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS preferred) with experience working within private households & International schools. You will be required to create tailored educational programmes and provide regular progress reports to the parents.
The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off, approximately 8 hours a day. The exact days off are negotiable; however, the weekend days are usually full working days (from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm). The role involves international travel.
This is a live-out role with the with a separare accommodation provided in Marbella, Spain near the Client’s house. During travel periods a private room will be provided in each location.

Requirements:
Fluent English speaker
Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE/QTS preferred)
Experience working as a Governess / Governor in private households
Creative, energetic, and passionate about education
Calm, patient, flexible, and able to build a warm, trusting bond with children
