Full-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for B9, located in Cyprus. Live out. Salary £1400 — £1500 per week. Start ASAP.
A family located in Cyprus is seeking a professional, engaging, and experienced SEN Governess/Governor to assist with their child who has dyslexia.
As a Governess/Governor, you will escort the child to school daily and be one-to-one support during the school day. You will be required to provide structured engaging, age-appropriate classes and activities and escort the young boy to extracurricular activities. He currently attends a private English school and will need one-to-one support during his day with reading, writing, and general comprehension. You will liaise with the teachers and provide the parents with feedback.
In addition to this, you will act as a companion to him, someone who can offer him support, play sports with him, and help him overcome any obstacles. He has younger siblings, however your focus will only be on the young boy. They have a fully staffed household and working well with the team of Nannies is important.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS as a minimum) with previous experience working in a private households, who has experience working with children with dyslexia. A sporty nature, and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications are essential. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic, engaging, and active.
International travel is required.
The working schedule will be 5 days on /2 days off. Working from 8 am — 4 pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required during travel
This is a live-out position with a private apartment provided for the right candidate.
