A wonderful position has arisen for a professional, dynamic and experienced English speaking Teacher to join a lovely Spanish family to meet the educational needs of their three children.

The family will be embarking on a new educational experience of homeschooling for their children in September and is seeking a qualified teacher to support the children academically. The children have been attending a top international school.
As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a full and enhanced personal educational plan following the International Baccalaureate curriculum.

This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher to leave the formal ways of the classroom and use the environment, culture and world around them to educate the children. The family seeks a schedule with formal classes, project work, excursions, extra curriculum activities, play and games to be provided to promote the children’s learning.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible, energetic, kind and well mannered, The teacher must have an open mind to delivering education and able to personalise learning to each child — bringing out the best in their students.
The family will travel internationally and the teacher needs to be confident in adapting their classes to different environments, making each location a new learning experience and linking in with the interests of the children. The Teacher will hold a PGCE and have extensive knowledge and experience of teaching this age range.

Tech-savvy, an interest in music and art and the ability to speak an additional language such as Spanish or Mandarin would be beneficial but not essential.

The family may consider a second candidate to become part of the team and therefore you will be required to work together to plan and deliver classes.

The working schedule will be 40 hours per week, working Monday — Friday. Flexibility around hours and schedule is required.

The family can offer a private room in the staff area in the family home or will consider a separate apartment for the right candidate.
When travelling with the family the role will be live in with a separate room provided in a villa or hotel.

A competitive salary is on offer to the right candidate from £1200 — £1800 per week. Please state salary expectation when applying for this role.
