Full-time English-speaking Governor/Governess for B7 & B2 located in Moscow, Russia. Salary £350 — £400 per day. Live-in. 3 weeks on/off. Start ASAP
A recommended Russian family, residing centrally in Moscow, is seeking a top English-speaking Governor/Governess to assist with language development, general development, and the academic studies of their boys aged 7½ and 2½.
As a Governor/Governess, you will provide an array of engaging activities in English, plan classes, assist with schoolwork, escort the elder boy to and from school and extracurricular activities, and during the summer months, provide an engaging and fun summer programme to keep the boys entertained, active, and happy while still learning. You will assist with general care: sharing mealtimes, promoting good behaviour and teaching etiquette, encouraging independence, maintaining health and hygiene, and assisting with bedtime duties.
The focus will be on the oldest child, who is currently fluent in English and Russian, and is also learning French. He attends a Bilingual School in Moscow from 8 am to 4 pm. While he is at school, you will spend time with the younger child and develop his communication skills. A Nanny is also in place to assist with the care of the youngest child.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced English-speaking Governor/Governess, qualified to at least a PGCE/QTS level, with a proven track record in similar roles and excellent references. Speaking French and/or Russian will be beneficial to your application.
The working schedule will be 3 weeks on/off, working approximately 12 working hours a day. Flights are provided at the start and end of each shift. For candidates already in Moscow, a 2-week on/off schedule is possible.
The family has a fully-staffed household, and they are keen to find the right candidate who will become a part of the team and will stay with them long-term.
This is a live-in position, with accommodation provided in a private room and bathroom in the client’s house (central Moscow).
International travel is required on a regular basis.
